Kobold #6 (Bones)
Here’s another Kobold that’s managed to get grubby paws on a shield. I tried to vary the cloth colors on Kobolds that share a sculpt. I know they all still look the same, but it does add at least a little variety.Read More →

Ah, yes – a different sculpt! This kobold is brandishing his dagger while raising his shield… I bet we see another one like him soon… I do like how this kobold came out — He’s got this classy skull belt clip!Read More →
This April fool is the 2nd-to-last of the currently painted Reaper Bones goblin minis – better models are coming! I like the GW goblins better than these, but I haven’t painted any of the WizKids goblins yet. Maybe they’ll be better; I have a pack of both the D&D goblins and the Pathfinder goblins, so we’ll see which one is best… When I get around to them, anyway. I do feel like my overall painting is better quickly; the muscle memory is coming back, the intuition about how the paints will react is getting better… Hopefully that feeling is reflected in the finished models, butRead More →

I’ve had the upcoming goblins for quite some time – they’ve even been used in games before, in all their white bones material glory. I’ve finally gotten around to cleaning them up & getting them painted — Here’s the first of the 5 I painted in this batch. Yes, I screwed up this one’s eyes. But they’re gobbos, and not likely to spend more than a few minutes on the table at a time… and others came out better, so I’m not sweating it.Read More →
