Whew! That was a lot of minis… but small, and fast to paint. All of these campground items I painted in one evening, doing a layer on each one and then looping back around to the first for the next layer! I feel like these are better than the orcs I previously posted, but again I did them without any prepping of the miniatures. What do you think you’ll find in these sacks? Grain? Vermin? Maybe a small stash of coins or a hastily discarded magic item? I don’t have much to say about this one… I tried to paint the burlap sacks a different set of colors than the small pouches, but alas the end up looking just the same. Here we have a couple backpacks (again from the pre-primed WizKids Adventurer’s Campsite set). As with almost all of these new entries, I did absolutely no preparing of the miniatures before painting. I pulled them from the package and began slapping paint all over them… pretty haphazardly, as you can see by the musical instruments on the side of the packs. Due to their size and intended use, I’m not stressing the quality on these — they’ll still look good (acceptable?) among painted miniatures and other scenery. Here’s a small messenger bag from the WizKids Adventurer’s Campsite pack that looks like the Bag of Holding from the DMG. It certainly doesn’t have to be – and it could be one of the cursed versions. I didn’t do the free-handing necessary to actually make it look like a Bag of Holding, but I did use the color scheme as shown in the books & on the box… mostly because I like it, but also because I like the flexibility of having it painted as such.
