As a way for me to be better able to get rid of things, particularly loved articles of clothing and stuff that has outlived its usefulness, I’ve taken to photographing them so I can reminisce about them when I miss them.
The first public retirement entry is my Ohio State fitted cap. My very first fitted ballcap, purchased during my sister’s first year at OSU — It’s been overseas, traveled thousands of miles on the motorcycle, been through countless moves, and even stayed with me when I got tossed around in the ocean! But, it’s old. And smelly. And it’s time to give it up. I’ll miss ya, OSU cap. You changed my life, and now I can’t wear snap-backs.
Man, this thing has been through hell and high water!
