Hobby Room Setup as of Jan 2019
Just for my own future reference and/or nostalgia, here’s the paint station setup in The Dungeon, as of my hobby re-start:

And here is (some) of the D&D collection, as of December 2018:

First up is the place of honor… Hardback shelf & antique display cabinet. The Hardback shelf holds most of my prized hardback books.
Bookshelf:
AD&D 1e, 1e & 2e special limited re-releases, 2e & 2e revised, and 5e. Not pictured: 3.0/3.5/4.0 hardbacks – due to (obvious) space constraints on the shelf, they’ve been relegated to the normal bookshelf in the larger library in another part of the basement.
Antique Display Cabinet:
(Original) Dungeons & Dragons white box (6th printing, I think, with “collector’s edition” mark) which also contains all of the expansions (Greyhawk, Blackmoor, Eldrich Wizardy, Gods Demi-Gods & Heroes), Swords & Spells, Chainmail (KG logo, 4th printing maybe?), Cavaliers & Roundheads (a super rare pre-D&D TSR release), two signed Larry Elmore prints from Gary Con IX, the 2e AD&D Core Rules CD & original Dragon Magazine Demo Disk, some old Ral Partha Baby Dragon minis, a couple TSR (1990’s-era) leatherette dice bags, and a bunch of other less fun to list faff.
On Top:
The wood box Original D&D Premium Reprint, Art & Arcana special edition, and the 5e Core Books set special edition cover…
Man, I love this side of the the room!
But, it certainly doesn’t take away from BOX SET SHELF:

There’s more adventure here than can be had in a lifetime, but I’m certainly going to try!
And finally, the painted models display case:

I have substantially rearranged this display case since this picture was taken in December 2018, but the models are effectively the same. Future plans for this case include: High-K LED lighting, better organization, and maybe even some terrain as I make new stuff!
