Here is the salt & pepper bearded Standard Bearer for the Santa Shooters. I have one blonde bearded Command group and one grey/salt & pepper bearded Command group. I could have done much better with the details & highlighting on these guys, but in making the mistake of trying to do over 15 at once I burnt myself out on the models and the color scheme. By the time I got to the edging/highlighting layers, I was toast and missed a lot of areas that could have made these models look a lot better. Lesson learned, don’t do more than 5-10 models at once. Though it adds to the consistency of a unit or army, I even find 10 of the same types of models exhausting, and the quality of my painting starts to suffer. I think I’m going to stick to a max of 5 of the same model-type & color scheme at one time to avoid this type of burn-out and rush-to-finish attitude.
